Thursday at Mount Grove Church of the Brethren by the Revs. On August 21, 1948, he married the former Bertie Conley, who survives.Īlso surviving are a daughter, Diana Sue Comer, of Broadway, two sons, Michael and Gregory Carr, both of Fulks Run, a sister, Geraldine Mitchell of Harrisonburg, and five grandchildren. Carr served in the Army during World War II. He worked at Roadcap's Live Poultry in Broadway and was a member of Mount Grove Church of the Brethren at Fulks Run. Carr was born April 19, 1926, at Fulks Run and was a son of the late Ervie and Minnie Ritchie Carr. Marshall Dexter Carr, 56, of Fulks Run, died of an apparent heart attack Tuesday morning at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. ![]()
